So for the past little while I've been getting ready for the Fan Expo in Regina this weekend and made sure I updated my websites and whatnot, completely forgetting to update my dA page! Long story short, I have a booth at the con. I'm at A199 in Artist Alley (the name on the table is Lion's Share Press). I've got a 5' tall Nightcat and Raphael posters that make it easier to spot.
The con is today and tomorrow, and the first day went really well. It's my first time getting a booth at a con so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. I'm really happy with the turnout of people at the con and I want to extend a special thanks to all who stopped by the booth and said hi and/or bought some books. I've been to a dozen cons before, but never behind the table. It's pretty exciting. And really, without the support I've received over the years, I wouldn't have HAD a booth. So thank you all for everything. The watched, the favs, the encouragement, all of it.

Metahumans vs Werewolves
Yep, the sequel to "Metahumans vs the Undead" is officially out. The ebook is available on Smashwords and Amazon.com, the trade paperback will follow shortly.
So that brings Nightcat's literary appearances up to 4 now. :) "Metahumans vs the Undead", "Marked for Death", "The Darkness of Shadows" and "Metahumans vs Werewolves", with the third book in the "Metahumans" series on the way.
I'm really happy with how things are going in that respect. Here's the link to "Metahumans vs Werewolves" http://www.amazon.com/Metahumans-Werewolves-Superhero-Anthology-ebook/dp/B00DRYOIU4/ref=sr_1_1 and to my author page on Amazon.com http://amazon.com/aut
You know...
If I stuck to shorter journals maybe I wouldn't be so hesitant to actually update the damn thing. LOL
As some of you may know, Nightcat's debut novel is now available (insert applause here) ;) You can get a hard copy if you wish, or you can pick up the ebook located here http://lionssharepress.com/Catalogue/Novels/The_Darkness_of_Shadows
And another Nightcat short story will be in the upcoming "Metahumans vs Werewolves" anthology by Coscom Entertainment. I should be out in the next few weeks or so. And I'm currently busy writing TWO more Nightcat short stories for upcoming anthologies, and I still have the "Burden of Proof" SS I have yet
Devious Journal Entry
The past little while has been insane to say the least. With Echo's passing, Willow's surgery 2 days after, a $400 plumbing bill and an emergency bathroom reno...things have been anything but quiet around here lately.
The other part of the reason for my absence is I've been preparing "The Darkness of Shadows" for its release. Lion's Share Press has published it and in the next little bit, it'll be available in paperback. (I think they're just waiting on the proof which is in transit right now)
AND they are having a contest where you can win a free min-poster based on the cover art.

Crappy couple of weeks
And that's an understatement.
On March 19th my little girl Echo passed away. Not entirely sure what was wrong. She was sick on the Sunday and Tuesday morning she wouldn't wake up. If that wasn't bad enough, two days later, my little man Willow ate a spool of thread and had to have it surgically removed.
It's been a hard couple of weeks.
I'm coping and managing. Willow is healing up well, but I'm still trying to get used to not having Echo around. I'm not sure I ever will mind you. God, I loved that dog.
I'm not crying uncontrollably anymore, but I still shed a tear when I see pictures of her.
